If you ship a package from CA to IL on thursday what day is it most likely to arrive???

It will depend on how you are shipping it. If it is express by Saturday at the latest, if it is Priority, Saturday or Monday. Regular standard it could be Tuesday, Wednesday even Thursday depending on the amount of mail it could even be later than that.

The shipper will be able to tell you that. You will have paid more or less depending on how fast you wanted it to get there.
