Yes, it's very possible.
I think it's inhuman for people not to have doubts about their belief of belief systems.
But then again, people viewed Jesus as more than human.

Jesus is God.
Exodus 3:14 (Old Testament) - God says "I AM who I AM" -
John 8:58 (New Testament) - Jesus says "Before Abraham was, I AM" in reference to Himself.
The audience understood exactly what He was claiming about himself. "So they took up stones to throw at him;..." (John 8:59).

No. Jesus had no reason to state the things he did. Why would he go to the cross and still state he was the Son of God?
