I wear a lot of the empire waist cut shirts at work and I ALWAYS wear a tank top underneath. I have a large bust so sometimes, my tank comes down and I have to pull it up because the last thing I want my manager (or anyone for that matter) to see is a lot of cleavage. With the tanks, a little bit peaks though even if I'm not leaning over and just sitting at my desk (I work reception.) I have button up shirts that I wear as well and some days I wear turtle necks so I like to think I have a good balance with my wardrobe. So really, how much is too much?

I do have a crush on the UPS guy and the guy that changes that mats. Just wanted to add that in because I think it's funny that that one person mentioned a UPS guy. But that's not why I dress the way I do. Thanks to the person who suggested not wearing spaghetti strap tanks to gain more coverage. I never even thought of that. That's why I come on here. You know what I will not be buying anymore.

Any cleavage is too much...
you may want to go to a big department store and have the bra fit experts measure and determine your correct bra size.
They can also recommend styles that will "lift and separate".
If the girls are bunched too tightly they tend to pop out of whatever you are wearing.
Whoever suggested the show "What not to wear" is right on the money. You will get excellent suggestions there.

any cleavage at all, even a smidgen is inappropriate. are you wearing spaghetti strap tanks? all large breasted women know thats not the way to go when ur looking for coverage. you shouldn't have to tug at your clothes to keep yourself covered. you should be able to bend over and reach over and raise your arms over your head without anything showing. if ur always at the desk anyone walking by can see down ur cleavage and u dont want that.

It really depends on your job and your position. In a conservative office, any cleavage is probably too much.

In a more trendy, artsy type environment, you can show more.

Maybe you can pull your boss aside and ask to show that you are trying to be aware and want to stay within the rules.

if you have to ask - then it is to much.. Do you ever watch What not to Wear? Chelse always makes sure the ''girls" are not all over the place. I wouldn't feel comfy at work with clevage. Its work not a bar. unless you have a crush on your UPS dilivery guy.

Call me a prude, but I think this cleavage thing is out of control. I see old ladies, HWP-challenged gals, young girls, everybody showing their boobs -- it's ridiculous. Keep it out of the workplace please. Save it for Friday night when you go the bars with your friends.

Good rule of thumb: if you are looking in the mirror when you are getting ready and you have to ask yourself "is this too low" than it probably is.
