You could risk getting food poisoning (salmonella) from eating raw eggs unless you can find some that have been pasteurized. Pasteurization kills bacteria such as salmonella.

It is possible for the eggs to have salmonella, you should always cook raw eggs. Certain tyes can effect the ovaries which in turn can effect the egg itself before the shell is formed, and these are in outward healthy chickens. Some forms of Salmonella only effect the outside of the shell, so if they are washed well, you are safe to eat raw eggs....
but you can't tell by looking at an egg.
Now that being said, chances of coming an egg that will make you sick is low, especially if you keep the egg in the refrigerator.

Raw eggs can contain salmonella bacteria if I'm not mistaken. The cooking kills the bacteria in the egg.
