IF I had one, I'd wonder why ANYONE would do this...
Is she too young to ACTUALLY shave - if so, then she likely does this to feel "more mature" (especially if she has an older sister/friend who DOES shave) ;);)

I used to. I used a razor with the cover on it. Or a pretend one. It's normal. It's the idea that what a woman does in the shower is to shave her legs, etc. Just like playing dress up but another way, in my perspective.

If your daughter is very young and is pretending to shave and you have concerns regarding her cutting herself, I just saw little bath gift sets at Target for $4.99 that included shave foam and a fake razor featuring popular disney characters.

When I was a little kid I didn't even pretend, I just did it, cause I thought you were supposed to. If you are worried about her cutting herself, have a talk with her about how dangerous razors can be, then maybe hide them. I think its fairly normal for her to be immitating her parents by shaving.

my mom said that when i was like 2 or 3, that she once found me in the bathroom with my face all cut up (and that i didnt even notice) because i was "shaving" my face with my dad's razor. and that she was like ''what r u doing?!?" and i just calmly said ''shaving.." id hide the razors. thank God i cant remember when this happened, sounds painful!

when i was a little kid i would put shaving cream on my face and shave it with a non-disposible razor, but with no blade in it. i did this after watching my dad shave.

?? i used to pretend to shave with my dad's razor when i was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay young. when my parents caught me (because i used it on my hair.... i didn't shave it off, i just kinda, brushed my hair with it) they got me a fake plastic one lol
