My boyfriend & I are planning on getting married in the future. He is an American and I am a Canadian..Could you give us some advice on how we would proceed with this?

You both need to decide where you will live once you are married. When you know that then ask again as the procedures are different and nobody can advise you without knowing where you want to live.

You don't where you plan to marry or live - the United States or Canada nor where you are currently living?

Each country as different procedures and requirements and without this information no-one can advice you on the correct steps to take.

Well one of you has to be a man and one of you a woman. So...you're pretty much set.

Seriously it should be pretty easy. You'll need to get an I-129 and then a K visa once you're married and/or engaged.

If you get married in America you cant have the same reproductive organs as your spouse. Canada has some loose morals up there.
