low lymphocyte percent normal absolute lymphocyte count?

I had cbc done these were the results: WBC 11.5 normal 5-11.
neutrophils were alittle high, absolute neutrophils were alittle high.lymphocytes were low at 10 normal (20-40) but the absolute lymphocyte count was normal. what would cause a high neutrophil, low lymphocyte count. and why is the lymp% low, while the actual absolute lymp count is normal. i was not feeling good that day which would probably explain the high count but not the low count, is this anythin to be concerned about? thankyou for taking the time to answer and mery christmas!!!

As Elizabeth notes above, there is nothing wrong with your lymphocytes. Your neutrophils (bacteria fighting white cells) were a little bit high that day. Any kind of stress or infection (usually bacterial) can cause this. Exercise can do this. Anything that releases adrenaline (epineprine) can raise the neutrophil count like this temporarily.
The blood counts are not a concern - - but whatever it was that made you feel bad that day may be. The white count is responding to something. The white count is not the cause of the problem, it is a result of some stress to your system. If you feel well now, and you want to know - - your doctor could repeat the CBC to allay your fears and show that it is back to normal. Try not to be severely frightened when they draw the blood. Just being scared can kick out adrenaline and bump the neutrophil count a bit by demargination.

If your absolute lymphocyte count is normal that means there's nothing going on w/your lymphocytes. Since your total wbc count is a little high, something else besides your lymphocytes went up and as a result the proportion of lymphocytes is lower.
