That's pretty skinny for a 5'8" person.

Are you eating well? Do you feel good? If so, don't worry about it. Teens can tend to be a bit high on the BMI before entering a growth spurt, or a bit low after a growth spurt.

Some people are naturally slender. I know a woman who had her tonsils removed as a teenager in the '30s so she would gain weight. Of course, it didn't work. It was a medical superstition at the time. She's elderly and still slender, but healthier than most women her age.

Technically yes, but it's really not by a lot. Your BMI (body mass index) that links your weight and height is 17.01, anything less than 18 is supposed to be underweight. But seeing as you won't stop growing for about 2 years anyway I wouldn't say it's a problem.

I'd say that's relatively normal for someone your height/age. However, a BMI (body mass index) will indicate that you are indeed underweight.
