I am assuming that you are speaking as someone being treated for pain. I am answering from that point of view.

You see, it depends upon what you have tried and what has and hasn't worked for you. The patch can provide excellent steady relief for some folks for 2-3 days. The patch tends to be relatively expensive if you are a selfpay. Some people have problems managing or taking pills, especially when in pain or sleepy. Also, if you tend to sit in the sun a lot or sit in a hottub or sweat a lot, the patch can release way to fast making a person sick and then doesn't last as long as it should. What works best for any given person is a very individual matter dependent upon biochemistry and lifestyle. If the adhesive irritates your skin it won't be a good choice either.

At $250.00 a months supply over , say, Vicodin for $24.00 it's not worth it. Unless there's a problem like stomach then of course you have a reason.

I've used both and find no difference in either.
