By all indications, he was a rather serious child and very intense young man. Unlike many dictators though, he had a great deal of personal courage in combat.
Funny? Eh....the German sense of humor (if I might grossly generalize) tends toward toilet humor, so if he joked around, I doubt it was very sophisticated humor by our modern standards.
All reports indicate he was very tedious and boring except in front of a mass audience.

he was so screwed up on methampthetmine that he probably lacked a sense of humor. he was most likely pretty funny when he stuck a gun in his mouth and pulled a trigger and handed command over to Admiral Donitz, I will admit he was funny in the Southpark movie Bigger Longer and Uncut

Do you ask this because of the old German films showing him smiling and talking with others? Germans don't joke around much ,but if they are with some one they respect they put on a show for him Germans don't seem to enjoy life that much and their women don't enjoy "that" much as well Just my oppinion

Actually I read he had a good sense of humor and he was a quite charismatic person,
that was the reason he attracted thousands of followers.
