What bothers me is when atheists make smart@$$, disrespectful comments towards Christians and those of other religions (ie on this website there are Christians who ask question about the Bible, then an atheist jumps on them and says "Why the heck do you believe in a little farie in the sky? That's stupid"). But at the same time, Christians who make smart@$$, disrespectful comments towards atheists and those of another religion drive me nuts too. So I guess what I'm saying is, it bothers me when people won't respect other people's beliefs, or make fun of other people for their beliefs. So no, it doesn't bother me at all that people follow different religions or have different beliefs than my own-- it bothers me when people have a lack of respect towards those of different beliefs.

No, we don't have any kind of doctrine that everyone must convert to Judaism in order to merit their place in the World To Come. We believe everyone of every culture and religion has a place in the World To Come as long as they are Righteous.

Unlike Christianity, Judaism believes that anyone can be Righteous by their own free will choices, all they have to do is follow the paths of the 7 Universal (Noahide) Laws which teach that very thing. No human (or god/man sacrifice required.

That's why we don't go around trying to convert anyone to Judaism. There is no need. This is also why there is no such thing as the Christian concept of being "grafted in". Not only is this impossible, but it isn't needed whatsoever.

I have no religion, I have Faith. I wouldn't use the word bother with regard to how I feel about everyone not following my Faith either. I don't feel bothered, I feel sad. It's not that I look down on them, so don't take this as judging. I know the truth and would love for everyone to not only know it as well, but feel it in their hearts.

Not as much as it bothers atheists that I follow MY religion.

I like to debate about religion vs. atheism, and I'll point out logical flaws I think the opposing view makes, but I honestly couldn't care less what other people believe except when they decide to make a public spectical of degrading and ridiculing that which I believe. I see it a hundred times on here every time I log in to R&S.

Not in the slightest. In fact not everyone SHOULD follow my religion as not everyone has the connection to the ancient gods necessary to possess the ability to do so.

Does it bother you that everyone doesn't use the same tooth paste as you? Probably not...so why should religion be any different?

No. It bothers me that everyone doesn't follow GOD!!!

James1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

No, not really.

I know what I believe, and I believe that my faith is the best way for me to get to Heaven and make a good mark on the world. But a lot of people have perfectly reasonable greivances against the Church, and thus I can excuse them having problems with it.

The ones I have issues with reject a caricature of Catholicism, but can't actually reject Catholicism, because they have no idea what its about or what it teaches.

Besides, its amazing what finding out about other people's viewpoints can do for your own faith. I went to my cousin's church once(Congregational), and while their pastor has said some things I know to be untrue about Catholicism in the past, another time I went and the sermon was about worship. It was very interesting and brought up a lot of good points. I think that sermon helped me in my faith.

I don't have a religion, but I do wish sometimes that hardcore believers would look outside the box sometimes, and accept that theirs may not be the only way.
