The 03 mach 1 engine is a good engine for a supercharger. It is very close to the cobras engine and can handle the extra hp a supercharger will provide. I own a 04 cobra and I think that you will also need to get an intercooler off a 03/04 cobra for the eaton sueprcharger. You will need additional pulley(s). To be honest with you, I am not sure what else you will need. It will not be much at all though do to the fact that your engine is the same 4.6L. 4 valve per cylinder engine as the the cobra. I have done a lot of reading on the subject and It seems like that fact that your engine is a 4 valve per cylinder engine (instead of the 2 valve per cylinder engines on the gt mustangs) the addition of a eaton supercharger is a pretty easy add-on. Go online to one of the mustang cobra clubs in your state and ask guys from your state what they think the best local performance shop is. When you find that out, give them a call and ask them. That is the only way you will get a 100% for sure accurate answer. Make sure you go online to a local mustang club though to find out what performace shop is best. Most states have perfomance shops that specialize or only work on mustangs, and thats where you want to go. I live in Arizona and thats how I found my place and I could not be happier. They only work on Mustangs and so they know every part and modification for mustangs. Good luck

Kenne-Bell makes a supercharger for the Mach 1. They put a 2200cc on a Mach 1 and I believe got it down to the low 9's. Of course they also blew the bottom end. Anyway, they make excellent superchargers for the Mach 1. You might give them a look. Procharger also makes excellent products. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the intakes and the throttle bodies from a Cobra to a Mach 1 are not the same. If you get an aftermarket supercharger, you'll get all the necessary brackets and hardware. Good luck.

I really don't think you need to worry about "collectors status" unless you plan on keeping it for 30+ years. If you want a supercharger, you should either buy an aftermarket kit, that was designed for your car, or buy the entire engine with computer and transmission out of a wrecked Cobra.
"The 2003 Cobra replaced it's previous engine with an Eaton supercharged DOHC 4.6L that received new cylinder heads, Manley forged "H-beam" connecting rods, forged pistons similar to those in the SVT F-150 Lightning, and an aluminum flywheel similar to the 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R’s that pumps out an astounding 390 horsepower! This new engine was also mated to a totally unique (to the Mustang) TTC T-56 6-speed manual transmission. "

Are u sure you want to tamper with the best part of your car its collector status by doing that?
second do you have the whole motor and cpu. your motors are not the same. many internal parts are different and E bay parts are questionable at best!
in the end Be Careful
PS no free rides Procharger sells a kit with a warrant.
