An interesting way of posing a question . . .

Nobody likes to be told they are heading for destruction, nobody likes to be admonished, if someone tells you that's where your headed does that mean they hate you, surely it means they care. If they didn't care about you they would let you continue.

However if someone is just having a go at you without any love (christian or not) it would be in the spirit of love for you to point out to them they are not being helpful. Perhaps then they may apologise and realise that their 'preaching' is actually not an act of love.

I believe you are confusing Christianity the religion with christians the flawed humans.

Your question does not make sense. Christianity is not about hating. It is about loving God and His Son. It is about trying to live the life God outlined in the New Testament. It is about forgiveness when we come short. It is not about approving of every immoral practice that comes to our culture but it is not about hating. If someone is preaching at you, it is probably because they care about you and your soul.

You should ask the Muslims that were starved to death in concentration camps in Yugoslavia by pious Christians in the nineties....

Or perhaps those Arabs that are asked to get off a plane because some pious Christians don't feel too comfortable with them....

i think Christians show their love by wanting to save people from burning in hell! how loving is that? that they truly care where you spend your eternal life.
