I know that a coat of arms belongs to a spicific person or their family, I know that someone in my family had one back in Wales before they moved to the USA, what I want to know is, is there anyway to find out what the coat of arms was? is there a website where I could look it up?

House of Names is a surname product peddler. You can't trust people who sell them soley on a surname. There might be several persons with your family surname that were granted a coat of arms, but companies that sell them, will not have all of them as they don't need to to sell to gullible people.

The only thing I can think of is you need to trace your ancestry back to the person that was granted a coat of arms. If you want to do that, there are lots of good people on this board that can give you some great tips and advice. Just ask.

Try this site, just type in your family name once you get there. http://www.houseofnames.com/xq/asp/s.Burton/Origin.EN/sId./qx/coatofarms_details.htm
