So, are you atheists and eggnostics saying that although u don't believe, you know all about the things of GOD? That doesn't make sense. Or did u just drop by to post ur nonsense 'cause you don't have anything better to do?

I was recently studying the doctrine of election, because at first it did not sound right to me. Now I understand that the doctorine of election niether means that the non-elect will be saved or that they won't. It simply means that God has predestined some based on His foreknowledge to be in certain circumstances that assure their salvation. That does not mean he is unjust. He may provide a stronger assurance for some toward salvation, but all deserve punishment for sin.

That also does not mean that the "non-elect" cannot or willnot be saved. It just means that God didn't pave the path for them. Either way, God is just. "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy" is exactly the way He put it.

For that reason, and because most people have no clue what the doctrine of election means or what it implies, I would imagine that most of God's elect have no clue that God has set them aside for His purpose. It is actually very humbling when you think about it.

And for those who don't know anything about the doctine of election or doubt it., read Romans chapter 8 (specifically around verse 29) and you will start to understand that election is not merely a calvanistic doctorine. This is a Biblical doctrine.

There was an election? Dang! See? No wonder I'm not religious. I miss all the good stuff! Okay, then, when was the election and who won? And next time, could they let Brian Williams or someone tell the rest of us?

YES......!

(John 10:14-to-18) I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

(Joh 10:15) As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

(Joh 10:16) And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

(Joh 10:17) Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

(Joh 10:18) No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Thanks for Asking !! RR
