well, start it as though you are watching them onstage now, and show the background information from then onforth... example:
Today in Sydney Australia, they have a four man lineup coming into the stage with simple attire, Who would have guessed that these four men had such an incredible history. I began.....
And look for background information on them and fill the rest of the long essay. They to write more than a thousand words and make it interesting for the reader, drop songs and their meaning and how they relate to their life..
Background information should be available in their official website, mojo.co.uk it is a website, uncut magazine, they are the british magazines from that era and they have a lot of information on the band.
And enjoy... it is a fun subject to write about.

Start with a run into the essay like....I want to jump in cold water, or ever since I played the silver ball, or we wont get fooled again,.....
Then explain why The Who means so much to you. It's about rebelion on the parents that can't except the change of a new "Generation". But I'm just t-t-t-t-talking bout my g-g-g-generation. Yet when I heard it, it meant so much and again it must still mean the same so in the 3rd paragraph talk about the universal notes then conclude with the endless forever rebelious of everyone even in our latest years that make the innoscence become our wisdom.

I'd start the paper with Who are you? Because you're researching them. It's just a play on words. :x
The Who is one of the greatest rock bands in history. I love them so freaking much. Check out their website, and google them too. Wikipedia will help, but I wouldn't rely on just Wiki.
Good luck!

Research the the members of the group. There is a biography about the band that you should be able to find in a Library.

depending on what share words..wreck down the essay into equivalent paragraphs ( have an beginning up paragraph the place you communicate the subject count of your essay i.e: My study subject count is consistent with why abortion is legalized blah bla blah for approximately 80-a hundred words, possibly loosely stating lots of the criteria you will communicate later, yet dont flow in to too plenty element on your intro. save the language actual for the period of your essay) then communicate some seperate evaluate each and each paragraph. so say you are going to have 6 paragraphs of 2 hundred words, write down 6 diverse factors approximately why abortion is legalized ( on a coarse artwork sheet) then write a paragraph for each factor discussing it. consistently link lower back to the question in each and each paragraph ( on the beginning up of one paragraph you are able to desire to assert " One reason abortion is legalized is by way of the fact....." yet dont initiate each paragraph a similar way. end with a end summing up your paper! good success desire this facilitates. EDIT: to maintain issues interesting throw in data and figures or possibly in call for rates and archives. instruct which you researched it

Go to their website, I am sure there are lots of references listed there.
Also, try searching Rolling Stone magazine's archives.
