It doesn't matter. I heard that your pores don't really open or close with different temperatures, which is the only reason I can think of to wash your face with cold water. If it is cold outside, wash your face with warm water. But I may be wrong.

I wash my face with warm water and then pat it with a cold face cloth to close the pores up.

I wash with normal temperature water!
I've heard that using cold water tightens your pores, but then later read that it was just a myth. It just feels like it is. And it doesnt really matter what the temperature is.

Hot water opens your pores and allows them to be clean.
Personally, I like to use hot water, then a splash of cold water to "close them" and just make me feel refreshed =]
Hot is best, but the cleanser you use is more important.

Hot water, because it kills germs better than cold and it washes the dead skin cells of your face better than cold water

If you're feeling sick, warm water. To wake yourself up in the morning, cold water. I use cold water mostly to wash my face and wake myself up. But I would use WARM water.

hot water drys out your skin. but cold will make ur pores show up a little more (dont ask) so i would consider using a warm, not hot water.

Never hot, but warm yes. And I heard to splash with cold afterwards to close the pores quickly.
