im diong a project for a class and i have that date in the cells but i cant figure out how to delete the blank ones, there are 2300 with 466 scattered blank ones so is there a way i can do it besides manually?

yes, lets review so i have this straight.
you have 1 column thats 2300 rows, 466 of the rows are blank?
you want to delete the entire row that has the blank cells.

lets assume we are talking about column A to make it easy.
try this:
- highlight column A from your 1st date all the way to the last date
- Click Edit (from the menu at the top)
- Click Go To...
- Click Special...
- Click Blanks
now you should have only the blanks highlighted

now just delete the rows (click the delete row icon) or
- right click on one of the highlighted cells
- click delete
- click entire row
