yeah this is kinda a stupid question but w/e

on friday there is a school dance and i think my parents are letting me go first yes then no then yes and soo on

anyways dance is frm 5-8 but me and my friends are leaving like at 7 or 7:30 to go to the movies because 2 people dont wanna go to the dance so were joining them at the movies
ok anyways basically we r arriving most likely at 8 or 7:30 to the movies would u let ur daughter who is 12 yrs old and i am responsible and i actually answer my phone.
go to the movies with about 6 girls on a friday night no adult supervision im afraid to ask my parents because they are strict but i mean all the other girls parents are letting them go.
the movie theatre is actually pretty safe not ghetto and we r watching alvin and the chipmunks bom chicka wah wah haha anyways would u letter ur daughter go?

Yes - you sound responsible. The only reason I wouldn't let her go would be if she got herself in trouble often or had been misbehaving recently.

Ask nicely, explain that you're responsible and you need a chance to prove it to them. Don't whine or scream if they fight you at first. Speaking to your parents like an adult will help them see that you're maturing. Tell them when you'll be home and who you're going with etc.

I think that is too late for a 12 year old to be out.
How are you getting to the movie ?
Are any parents going with you?

If not, I'd say join your friends the next afternoon for the movie with adult supervision. That's what I did with my kids.

#1 it depends on the friends and the theater.
#2 you cant answer your phone at the theater...

I'd just ask and see what they say..maybe offer to just go to the movies and get dropped of there by your parents and skip the dance...that way they see you are there safe and sound and can watch you walk in. You are becoming a teen now hon and need to learn the art of compromise yo get what you want.

sorry no i wouldnt. i would be taking you to the school and picking you up after the dance as well. your little girls you can have a pj party and watch videos at home


your also too young for this site you have to be 13

Hunny, yes I would let my daughter go, she also answers her phone.
