I'd check with the teacher to make sure there isn;t a sepcific color they are suppossed to wear (ie. red or green). If not I would dress him in nice pants (like kahkis for example, not jeans), a nice dress shirt, solid or striped long sleves, or a turtleneck type shirt (not tshirts, hoodies). Any nice shoes (not sneakers). i wouldmn't worry about ti too much, not all parents dress their knids up anyway.

Usually a nice pair of slacks (not jeans) and a sweater, turtleneck, nice shirt with a collar (not a t-shirt). Have him wear nice shoes (not tennis shoes) and that's about it. You can call his teacher just to make sure they aren't supposed to wear a certain color so they all match.

At my son's school, some kids come all dresses up and some wear their normal school clothes. alot of them wear red or green.

If you have time write a note to the teacher. They may have to wear the same color.

a nice pair of jeans or kakies and a nice dress shirt can find both at walmart and should not cost you that much if you have to buy them

ask his teacher if there is a dress code for this event, that way you know for sure.
