Mostly the teachers will show you into the class and may ask a sensible and kind pupil to help you around the school. If you like the person stick with them and i think they have other friends and you will slowly fit in.(or quickly fit in) dont be shy and dont hide yourself because you will find it harder for youself.
hope this helps and dont worry about it mate, i know lots of people that have joined schools and they all feel the same way first and then its like you know everyone and it feels as if you the school properly.

Starting a new school is always nerve racking. Just give yourself time, and try to get to know people in your classes. No reason why people should dislike you, is there? I realised after school that a lot of "popular" people are not very well liked, and in fact disliked by many people.
It's better just to be friends with those you share interests with, and don't worry about the rest.
(Can you join choir, sports, clubs or anything? That will help a lot).

hey it's Ashley, you never told me that u were starting a new school WOW!!
Yeah it might seem scary at first but after awhile people will get to know you and to tell you the truth thats why people may seem not friendly because they are more afraid of what you will be like. And the true friends will come up to you and ask ur name and hang around you. So be kool and im sure everything will be fine, but if you have any problems IM me and we can talk.
Hope everything goes smoothly

Just look and this as a new adventure. Everything will be new, so you don't have to worry about something that happened in the past. As for judging how people will think of you, don't do it. If you pre-judge people, it has a way of coming true, Be open minded about people and you may be surprised by how nice they can be.
You will make new friends and make a fresh start. Perhaps you will discover a friend that will be with you for life.Good luck and have fun!

Not to sound like a parent or anything, but just be yourself. I know it's cliche, but it really works. Take a day and just observe the students. No school is chock full of mean kids (no school worth going to, at least), so seek out the nice ones and extend the hand of friendship. Introduce yourself, ask about the place, but don't be overbearing. Who knows, you might make a friend your first day.

Just think positive!! that is the main thing.. It won't be as bad as it's said...If you do feel bad then you must either tell your parents or a close relative/family friend.
School is there for all the right reasons, enjoy all it teaches!!..
Hope all is good for you..Sure it will be.

Do you live in the south? You will get laughed at if you use the word "ya'll" anywhere else. Try to fit in as best you can. Everyone loves confidence in a person and complements from them.

Heres so advice:
Never go for the cool crowd!!
Once you get a friend, don't try to get another one. You'll get another one by NOT trying.
Don't try to be a geek. But try a LITTLE to be cool.
Thats all I have. Good luck! And, make sure you believe in yourself!!
