You can't make anyone do something. They have to want to in the first place. And there aren't any rules to love, just the ones you make up as you go along.

You can't make someone love, no matter how hard you try. There is no such thing as bending the rules in this case, it may be just time for you to move on. Love happens on its own, its not something that be thrust upon someone.

Why would you want to force love on someone? Its so much better when it happens naturally. No matter how much you love the person, you can't make them see what you see. If love is meant to happen it will. Remember everything happens for a reason. If one person doesn't love you its meant to be because eventually you'll find the one who will!!!!

No you can not make someone love you, but you can get their attention and start a friendship then build from it, I am going through a similar situation right now, and I am having to start all over my partner as friends.
