Did you always know your path or or was it taught to you? Did you change your path somewhere along the road? What made you choose your religion/spiritual path?

I was raised southern baptist. But I always knew that it wasn't right for me. After many years of searching, I am on the right path "for me". I consider my self Eclectic Pagan.

As a university student vacillating between atheism and agnosticism, I took an elective entitled "Religion, Philosophy, and Science" and later the same year an English course entitled "Medieval English Literature." In the first class I was astounded to see the similarities, the same spirit, among the world's major belief systems, especially between Buddhism, which precedes Christianity by more than 400 yrs, and Christianity; in the literature class, I began to understand the pagan origins of the beliefs and practices of what is today known as Christianity.

A year or so later, I encountered the teachings of Baha'u'llah, which explain the Creator in a way that resonated with me and showed how the universal educators, who established the major religious systems, are essentially one. After almost a year more of intensive self study and research, I chose to call myself a Baha'i.

I was raised Southern Baptist but never felt it took, it never felt right even thought I wanted it more than anything, especially as a child.

I gave up trying religion and drowned in a bottle for awhile. I decided that wasn't working either and found A.A. and paganism.

Finally, something started filling that longing I had all my life. I began exploring various branches of paganism and my own heritage. Paganism was close. I knew Christianity wasn't for me and the more I studied it and paganism, I knew I was close to what I was looking for.

Then I found Asatru and heathenism. The deity calling me became clear and I haven't looked back at all. It's part of my heritage but, even more important, it answers the basics of my nature and longing - honor, courage, family responsibility, freedom and more.

Before I was saved,
I did live my life unrighteously.
I got caught up in drugs, etc. - I practically lived out the movie called "Casino." I found myself in places that were unimaginable. I almost over dosed on some bad stuff I had gotten a hold of. - "God was telling me that I needed to change my life but I was rebelling against HIM.
I got involved with a guy who lived his life like Pablo Escobar. -I knew that there was NO FUTURE with him.
I didn't care about all the money, or cars, etc.
I had been robbed and carjacked. I nearly lost my life several times.
-I knew I was still missing something. I had a hole in my heart.
I felt that I wanted more than what life had to offer.
I ended that relationship with that guy, and I cleaned up my act.
I found Jesus Christ to full fill me. I changed my life around.
I got saved and was Baptized. "I buried the dead", (my past).
I later found someone new, got married, and now, I have a beautiful son. My family and I have the Lord in our Lives.
I have came a very long way in my life and none of this wouldn't have been possible without GOD.
-My heart is WHOLE.
God Bless.

I was raised Catholic well what i call a sunday Catholic. On Sundays I would chruch with granny then go home to my parents who were "Catholic". Then my freshman year of hghschool mom put me in a "Christian" school non-denominational. I enjoyed the freedom singing and worshiping. At the end of that year mom was diagnosed with cancer. And i got mad at God. Why my mom. So I thought i was nothing. Now i dont believe in religion. Just my God. My faith pulls me through. I believe that all peoples perception of God is different. So we share the same God just not the same view. I respect nature and the natural flow of things. I believe that some people are gifted. Like empaths and such.

Thank you for asking. Love and Light to you!

I'm 100% Catholic. When I was 19 I had a

very serious car accident, I was in a Coma for

6 months I met God. When I woke up I

searched different religions because I felt

betrayed, In each Branch I looked into I met

disappointment, just the way each branch

thinks of God, so one night as I was laying in

bed trying to go to sleep it must of been 4 or 5

in the morning I felt Heard God he had come

into my mind & I saw everything clearly, he had

not let anything bad happen to me he allowed

me to see what life would be like without him.

So my Faith in God had multyplied.

On occasion, life has tried to break down my foundations -- I learned what was true, what I could rely upon, and what I could not.

I found a strait path [spelled correctly - not straight]. My foundation is sure.
