...In faeries and unicorns, would you?

p.s. It is the same thing as if you told me to believe in god

ok, i did not mean for this to offend people, i was just telling the people on this board not to tell me or anyone else to believe in because it is our own personal choose. So, sorry if it offended you, (unless you are one of those people telling others what to do)

Have a great day :)

Essentially it is the same, but everyone is going to argue that it isn't. Why? Because the Bible can't be wrong and millions of followers for hundreds of years can't be wrong. Right?

So to answer you question, no I would not. Plus I am irreligious, but I wouldn't go as far as to say unicorns are the same as believing in God. But I do personally think the concept of God is crap (no offense fellow Christians, Jews, etc)

You would have to provide a personal revelation story, that showed me how your life is much better now that you believe in Unicorns.

Then you would have to convince me that the existence of unicorns is beneficial not only to me, but to a majority of mankind.

Then you would have to convince me that unicorns are not going to torture most humans for eternity because stubborn humans refuse to believe in the using only faith.

Then I might consider it.

know but faeries and unicorns didn't write a book for us to follow, doesn't perform miracles and the biggest reason of all is they don't EXIST. There are no artifacts found from them but there is from God and everything that God has done, and all the miracles he performed aren't magic or just nearly a coincidence it is real and true

um...last i knew, there was no historical data to back up fairies and unicorns. just because you interpert something as false, doesn't make it ok for you to insult people who believe in it. very intolerant and rude.

many of the historical events in the bible (weather patterns, historical figures, etc) have been shown to be accurate. explanations have been provided for all sorts of biblical events.

for anyone to believe in your fairies and unicorns, you would ahve to show evidence taht supports your word that they exist. i assume you have none.

further, i have seen proof in my life of the existence of God. i believe what i can see and hear and feel, not abstract concepts.

through fact human beings have the unlucky habit of insulting people who disagree with them. additionally through fact human beings tend to have a slender view of issues that often does not amplify previous their own stories. i might wager that many atheists who insist that faith is approximately believing what you're instructed have regularly experienced faith in basically that way. easily there are sheeple who basically have self assurance what they are instructed, blindly and without theory, yet its a actual disservice to think of all religious human beings, or maybe each and every person interior a definite faith, behave that way. that is stereotyping.

I would not believe in anything by just being told. I need some sort of proof. Every day I have proof that a higher power exists at play. miracles happen Every day?

I don't listen to what people tell me to believe anyway. So I would not listen then either. I am not agnostic or athiest either. I just chose to find out where my heart was for myself. Not what my parents are or what anyone told me to believe.
