OG, interesting statement but not exactly right.

why would you, whom ever you are who asks the question send threats to another user?

also i would suggest that you glance through the book of james and rephrase your question for it is not exactly correct either.

harry potter is a story about a kid becoming a warlock which is a forbidden craft by the bible, both old and new testiment. Witchcraft is an appeal to authority which does not being in the LORD and the books appeal to be natural state of men.

calling someone a devil does little to build your credibility to anyone reading your posts either. Nor does the way you phrase the question.

I would suggest that if you want to bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, try and be kind. Jesus had a following that was vast because when they brought to him people caught in crimes, he did not condemn or accuse them but told them to sin no more and go in peace.

harry potter is not something I either read or watch in movie form. am I familiar with the works, a little, enough to speak intelligently about the characters needing salvation if they were real, just as the readers of your question might also need it.

what would you see as a scathing attack of your person, your values and the things you hold precious? in like manner, some here do not see a question but an attack. when attacked people defend themselves.

learn from the prophet, feed them, give them rest and send them back to their families.

LOL you're too funny!!!!

yeah -- love overcomes evil - that's something that will destroy the youth!!! ooh wait how about -- the easy road isn't always the right path -- the right path is often the most difficult and yet most rewarding. doing what is right is not always the same as doing what is easy....

you might want to actually read the book(s) before you start spouting such nonsense.

As a Christian, you pray to your god for assistance in your day to day life. Problems like anger, improper behaviour or other things that are ungodly, you pray for assistance in overcoming the problems. When a witch or a wizard does spell work, they are essentially asking for the same type of help from their dieties. Bottom line, spell work and prayer are the same thing. It is an attempt to manipulate the energy around you. Both are forms of the magic that your christian teachings tell you that they are of the devil.

Oh, please! You're being ridiculous!

Harry Potter is a cool guy.

You're silly if you think a book will destroy us.

You are the one who is poisoning people with your venom and judgemental attitude.

Surely this is a joke. No one can truly believe Harry Potter is evil.

lol at question!
OMG!
okay umm what if i told you that witchcraft isn't evil nor do Witches in anyway asociate with the devil?
what if i told you that Christianity as a religion has been corrupted for years by the government. Killing people just because they don't believe in their god? or setting out wars in the name of God even though the commandment is thou shall not kill?
and the fact that christians hate gay people though god tells us to love thy neighbor as or self?
or the fact that i am a witch myself? I do not believe in the devil, curse people, or make them fall in love, why?
Karma, and we have a golden rule too " Harm none"
so give it up devil boy so naive

Harry Potter is a childrens book (well series of books and movies). It serves to help stretch the imagination. Trying to read more into it is preposterous.

Wow, this comment makes me feel like it's 2000 again. I thought we would be over this sh!t by now!

I bet you're just angry that Rowling didn't put Harry and Draco together in the end, so now you're coming on here and hating on H.P. It's okay, honey, H/D will live on forever in our hearts and in fanfiction.

Then call me a devil. I'm a Christian, and see nothing wrong with reading works of fiction.
