What reminds you of how happy you feel to be a atheist / agnostic?

Thanks :-)

@Skepsis: I 100% agree with you. I am an atheist and I have very few connection with symbols. I needed to ask this question in order to see what kind of symbols atheists and agnostics are connected to.

~~~ Alexei ,,,, Most Respectfully ,,,, You remind me of a college graduate with a Degree in Something who is deluded into thinking that he now knows how the Real World works,,, and his first few years in The Work Force he's content with Paying His Dues because Hard Work pays off and he knows that he has to Start Somewhere and work his way up. Get Experience. Until then it's just a waiting game because he already Knows Everything. This is known as "Being in The Ignorant Bliss of Delusion". You have momentum now to purge all the dogma with which you've been Indoctrinated. I humbly suggest you begin reading what history's Greatest Atheist Thinkers;ie Philosophers have written on The Subject.(They were not ALL correct in their assertions) To further the previous Metaphor, this would be a Post-Graduate Degree. I also suggest you serve yourself a large portion of Humble Pie before you begin. An agnostic, as I once was, is a "Fence Rider", so to speak.I offer my services as Mentor,,,and I wish you the best. ~ Namaste`
The Darwin fish with legs symbol, or the evolution picture showing man changing from ape to modern day human. Good books on atheism, like the The God Delusion, etc. Just telling people I'm an atheist, that makes me feel good, being true to myself.
Nothing much.
Maybe math symbols, like 2+2=4.
That's why I'm an atheist: I can't conceive of the answer being anything but four, just like I can't conceive of imaginary sky deities zapping the universe into existence.
As long as we are being symbol-minded, I have always been partial to the spiral. No beginning, no ending, continuous motion.
Also, how about these words from Albert Camus:
"The absurd is the essential concept and the first truth."
"You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life."
Ouroboros.
Infinity symbol.
Photos of galaxies.
The best thing about being an atheist, though, is this time of year. So much fun to go to Target and see everyone in a shopping frenzy trying to buy the love of others. "Uh, I'm just here for paper towels!" Hee hee...
Nothing, I don't need a symbol. But I do agree with the one who said pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope...
Go look out the window. Now open it and take a breath of air. That's the feeling. No pictures or symbols and capture that.
Is there a symbol for freedom of thought? I never thought of one. Anyway, whenever I find a new, original idea by thinking, pondering, associating freely, without restrictions, without being bound by prefabricated opinions, I am reminded of my happy state of mind.
There is no real "symbol".
What makes me happy to not be connected to religion is seeing things like the Creation "Museum", or people like Benny Hinn and the idiots who fall for his lies.
