No. The only difference is their color. If I was to adopt a Lab, I'd get the one that fits in best with my lifestyle and would get along with my other dogs, I would not chose one just because its chocolate.
All dogs from the same breed can have different personalties. Their personalties start to develop when they're young tiny puppies. For example: the largest one in the littler can be stubborn, and bossy. Sometimes there can be a shy puppy in the litter, usually that that can be the runt.

No every dog is differant it doesnt matter what color they are. LEts ysay you have the three colors a black lab a golden lab and a choclate lab one could be really nice one could be mean and one could be shy. But your friend has the same breed and color of dogs and the temperments are totoally differnat! Socialization int he puppy days helps the dogs grow us nice and sweet though!

Color of the lab will have no effect on personality! I've met black labs that were mellow and sweet, and some that were crazy hyper. Same with yellow and chocolate labs!

Edit*
Which color do I prefer? Personally, I like chocolate labs with hazel eyes! Gorgeous dogs!

Form follows function, and that includes temperament. So it depends on what the dog was bred to do, not what color it is.
That said, when people breed for the color that is this weeks fad, stop and think 'what is the function the dog was bred for'

No.

Edit: I'm not fond of labs (I sense a crap load of low ratings but I don't care) but if I had to choose it would be a Chocolate. Of the labs I see they are mostly yellow or black.

Identical except for color.

Chocolate is beautiful. Mine is a choc lab/rottie mix who is a very dark espresso brown-he looks black in most lighting.

No. Each dog has their own personality and the temperament of the pups mom and dad will tell you more about the pups temperament.

I pretty sure chocolate labs are the craziest ones! I like them best.

I don't think the change is in the color, it is usually in the sex. If its a male it can be more protective and jumpy and female is more calm.

No and in pure bred A.K.C. registered dogs their temperament will stay true to breed.
