I know about mixing drinks, but I'm talking about drinking something straight up. The only liquor I can drink is Jose' Cuervo Tequilla. Any other suggestions......

For drinking straight? I'd suggest a smooth scotch. Glen Livet is very good.

I don't think you'll find a quality alcohol that doesn't taste like alcohol? That's kind of like asking an apple to taste like banana cream pie.

I'm not a huge fan of mixed drinks -- who wants to drink all that extra crap? I just go with a smooth scotch or bourbon with the occasional big glass of water. Bulleit bourbon is very good.

I find both Patron and Belvedere overrated. For tequila I would get any of these: Don Julio, Cazadores or Herradura; In vodka: Monopolowa, Grey Goose, or Finlandia (ps: Silver tequila is mostly for shots and in my opinion the taste appeals more to younger drinkers) Other products I can recommend and something quality that someone in their 30s SHOULD BE able to afford: gin - Bombay Sappire bourbon - Wild Turkey spiced rum - Sailor Jerry's scotch whisky - Johnny Walker Black

Southern Comfort (soco for short) is a good choice, I just finished off a bottle the other night straight, and I normally can't stand the taste of hard liquor. Another one you might wanna try is Malibu Coconut Flavored Rum (usually if your a girl), or even pucker is a good one.

Jagermeister, Captain Morgans Spiced Rum or Private Stock. Shoot for the stuff under 80 proof if you dont want too strong of a taste.

Malibu Rum is always good, any flavor goes with a punch or pineapple or orange juice, even alone its good. Also, Midori liquor goes good with pineapple juice. Neither is very strong at all though if you do want a buzz id go for the rum,

If Janis Joplin were still alive she would tell you all about Southern Comfort.
It goes down smooth, but really packs a whallop!!
