Yes, it only gets worse if you wait so you should go now. I was 5 and couldn't hardly see, but I didn't realize it until I got my glasses.

How far away from the T.V. is he? At what point of distance does he stop squinting? Does he squint when he is drawing or other close-up activities? Answer those questions for yourself, and then make up your mind as to whether he needs to be examined by an ophthmologist for glasses.

Yes you should get his eyes checked. He is squinting to get them into focus. He might need glasses.

Its normal to squint when you watch tv, its stressful on your eyes.
If he's squinting at other times to see things then yes, you should get him checked.

2 hrs of t.v. are enough for the day, if he is watching more than that then cutt off some t.v. time, if he squints when he is trying to see far away objects then have him checked
