Unless you know a way to turn a Crown Vic sideways to split lanes during heavy traffic you need to get through in order to reach an area you've been called to.
Motorcycles have their advantages and disadvantages. Advantages would include mobility and gas mileage. Disadvantages include the issue of the officer's safety.
