call of duty 4 perks?

I recently unlocked a perk for call of duty 4 that will allow me to hide from radar. Is this something I have to activate, and it will only be active for a short while, or is it more permanent, and I won't be on anybody's radar...ever!

Oh....I was wondering how come people were on the radar and then they disappear. So, the only time you are on the radar is when you shoot. So, how come people know when I'm hiding behind some crates, and they throw a grenade at me? I thought it was because I was on radar. If I wasn't letting off any rounds, how did they know I was there?

it is called "UAV Jammer" and it takes up the second perk slot. It will make you not show up on radar whenever an opponent calls in a uav. You will not show up on any uav sweeps regardless of how many are called in on the level.

You will still show up on radar if you fire your weapon, unless it is silenced.

With a silenced weapon and the uav jammer, the only way you will be seen is through the kill cam when you shoot someone. (besides actually seeing them onscreen)

I even have style of a rotation of three weapons. in case you rotate via those weapons relying on how massive the map is, you will locate that one in all those weapons would be appropriate for the map. at the beginning, close quarters alongside with vacant and wetwork, use the mp5/silencer, with bandolier, secure objective, and combating power- the hip hearth on the mp5 is insane with secure objective, and the silencer provides the little bit of stealth that the mp5 needs to do artwork. for medium to long variety maps you need to use the two an attack rifle or a sniper. the attack rifle that i exploit is the m4, which i detect myself getting the same volume of kills as whilst i exploit the m16. with one in all those attack rifles positioned on a crimson dot, and particular a silencer on shorter ranged maps- use combating power, bandolier/frag x3, and secure objective. the sniper it somewhat is the appropriate and has the possibly the appropriate one shot kill ratio is the m40. with the m40 use combating power, iron lungs, and bandolier. in case you have 3 of those weapons on your arsenal then you particularly will by no ability detect a map that makes you experience such as you dont have a variety that suits it.

you have to create a class
pick default name (such as my assult rifle)
pick the weapon you've been using
the perk is only good for that weapon.
pick the perk to activate it. It's permanent.
only use class weapons from now on.
you can use 3 perks.
