We usually pick a family that might be going through hard times and we will do the whole 12 days of Christmas/Secret Santa thing. It's nice because our kids end up getting more excited about sneaking up on the house and giving for 12 days straight... rather than fully concentrating on what they are getting.

Call your favorite local church and ask if they know of a needy family who could use some support. There are many whose lives you could make a huge difference to.

I was in a church play, and I talk to people about God in Yahoo Answers! : P
Currently also I am trying to help a friend with his marriage.
