Some people may make the claim they were "converted" here.
Don't believe them. They may say so as part of their proselytizing angle, but I can't believe anyone could really be so gullible as to be convinced by a glorified bulletin board to make so life-changing a decision.
A person would have to be very weak-minded to be convinced by a question and answer board to change religions, or to leave a religion.
The big questions of life don't get sorted out on the Internet. They get sorted out during the course of the years, the lives lived, the journeys taken.

I daily become more and more certain that religions (all of them) are nothing more than fairy tales that are perpetuated to gain money and power from and over their believers.
I'm certain that there are a few, very few really religious people in the world who believe in the true basics of religion and live their lives acting these beliefs out. IE: Help the widows and orphans. Help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, aid the sick, house the homeless, live simply.
There are those like Bill Gates and Jimmy Carter who put their money where their mouths are and
do good the world over.
All the rest is about moving lips to control people and separate them from their money.

(Okay for real, Linz was a Christian when she came here and now is not. That's the only one I know personally. Skalite recently became a Buddhist but I'm pretty sure that didn't have much to do with R&S.)
