We're not talking about legally....what you think is inappropriate and out of line?....whether there is a law to protect you or not.

Have you ever been in this situation? What did you do?

When I was 15, a manager at a fast food resturant that I worked at pushed me into the cooler and thrusted his groin on me. He pinned me down and told me that he could do whatever he wanted and no one would hear me scream.

I went home and told my parents. My dad called the corporate office and threatened to sue them if this man wasn't fired johnny on the spot. Needless to say, they sent another manager to replace him. He was fired immediately. My parent's were PISSED! Rightfully so.

scandalous comments about someones sexual behavior is something that I think is quite common. I think I have experienced that aspect of sexual harassment myself. In general any unwanted and uninvited behavior regarding sex directed at someone would be sexual harassment.

I had a similar situation, I was working in a restaurant kitchen, when I was 16, the kitchen manager followed me into the walk in refrigerator, and tried to grab me... I had an armload of lettuce, and I thrust it into his arms, and said "thank you for carrying this for me"... then I went straight to the owner, and made a complaint... that manager vanished that night.

Sexual harassment, is any unwanted, and uninvited sexual advances, inuendo.. it can be physical or verbal.

What everyone else said. It's basically unwanted sexual advances. Stalking, staring, etc. are basic signs of sexual harassment.

Clearly that is sexual harassment, and perhaps sexual assault. There are many forms of sexual harassment, and it all depends on the sensitivity of the people in your environment.
