why can't i save anything in my documents? i even tried to tpye in wordpad and notepad,and it still won't llet

i can't save anything even if i type in wordpad or notepad. why

Exactly how do you try to save your work???
Tell us the whole procedure you go thru that doesn't work???

Is your hard drive full? Chances are if the hard drive is full, It will not save any document you make.
