I am in no way offended by the phrase Merry Christmas. People have been saying it for decades without any problem. Now, all of a sudden, some are making an issue out of people saying it. Why , in heaven's name ? If some people don't like to say it, no one is making them say it. But that doesn't mean I have to refrain from using it because some bleeding hearts are offended because the word Christmas has the word " Christ " in it. This is just the beginning of the loss of our free speech. Political correctness run amok is what it is !!

I'm not offended mainly because people (a) don't know any better and (b) really don't mean to offend but really are just trying to be nice.

As a person who does not celebrate the day though I will admit It gets old after a bit and I'm elated when its over and I don't have to hear it ... well until the beginning of Christmas shopping season again.. when does that start now? Its up to right after Labor Day isn't it?

Seriously folks I actually saw Christmas decorations and sales before October this year. I think they missed Thanksgiving, didn't see on turkey day display or sale.

For the last bloody time. Nobody is 'offended' by this!
Businesses, government organizations etc are simply using the more inclusive term "happy holidays" in an effort not to ostracize non-Christians and be more 'user friendly' during the holiday period - a time when MANY religions have holidays..

never, and that i'm pagan. i won't be able to understand why trip journeys are some thing to be dissatisfied approximately. some human beings are only offended and selfish and seem for motives to ***** - even if in the event that they must make it up. The word "satisfied trip journeys" has been around for an prolonged time - undergo in concepts Bing Crosby making a music "satisfied trip journeys" in 1942? The humorous ingredient is that individuals merchandise to "satisfied trip journeys" even nevertheless the be conscious "trip" ability "holy day", yet no one complains approximately "Season's Greetings". only an excuse to argue. unhappy, whilst the trip journeys could desire to be a time of giving, no longer inflicting hassle.

No, I will say it when I want and where I want. No one is going to take Christmas away from me. Even athiests celebrate Christmas, not for the same reason as Christians, but the way I see it is if they are going to celebrate any part of it, then they can't expect us to not say it!

I disagree with the term "Politically Correct" in any aspect!

No - I am Christian and I have been brought up to believe that God gives life as a gift to be fully used. I know many Jews and Moslems are offended by this idea and prefer rules to prevent this full enjoyment yet I would challenge them to explain why they are wiser than God.

I would not presume to go there.

Sorry, I wasn't being politically correct. I hope you all can understand that I do not agree with the issues of people getting offended by me saying Merry Christmas. After all CHRISTmas is all about Jesus.
