What is your opinion when it comes to abortion?

I believe it is murder, no matter the circumstances. Some people argue with me: "Well, what if you got pregnant because you were raped?" I still do not think having an abortion would be the right thing to do. Put it up for adoption, at the very least. I know life in foster homes and adoption facilities aren't the grandest - but is it not better than killing them? Than never even giving them a chance to live their life? Well, that is just my opinion. Bash it if you would like. I'm here to listen to your opinions.

I am NOT, under ANY circumstances, bashing you for your beliefs. I just think it is wrong, that's all. I was looking for opinions and what YOU thought. Just because I don't believe abortion is right it does not mean I think anybody who has an abortion is a bad person and it does not mean I am trying to disrespect you or your beliefs. So, no need to be a ***** about things. Thanks.

I'm sure I'll get thumbs down for this because people don't believe what I do and it doesn't matter whether or not I'm answering the question, buuuut...

I'm pro-choice. I would never get an abortion myself, but I think the woman has the right to decide. Yes, i feel bad for the baby growing inside the womb, but honestly, after my son was born I became even more pro-choice. I look into his eyes and his smile.. and I can't imagine him being an unwanted baby to someone who abuses him.

I know that adoption is an option, but there are so many children in adoption agencies, it's sad.

Many people confuse pro-choice to being pro-abortion, but believe me, that is definitely not the case to me.

Because you have been in the Foster Care system, you know that it is not always the best situation for children. If I decided to have an abortion it would be because I was raped, the pregnancy would have killed me or made me mentally ill. Child rearing is no joke. Your body goes through lots of hormonal changes and you could be one of the people who have a severe case of post-partum depression. I would rather not have the baby then worry about harming it or giving it up for adoption and worrying everyday that someone was abusing him/her. Also, what do you say to your child that you gave away because you were raped? Remember now a days once they reach the age of 18 they can contact you and ask questions about you and their father. The adult child may have had a horrible time growing up in foster care and then you tell them something like that. Would you be afraid that something like that might cause them to commit suicide? Think about it-you would not have been born if your mother had not been raped. That is just too harsh of a thing to put on a person.

I believe that a baby is a baby....not just a fetus or sack. It's heart begins to beat, on its own, at 25 days into the pregnancy.I could never kill a baby or child...ever. I mean, even if raped, I would not abort it. After all, why should the baby die because of what his father did? My dad stole a truck when he was 14, should I have to go to jail for it???
An unborn baby is a living being put here by God and if God means for me to have it ok. If I cannot take care of it or feel like I could keep it and raise it the way it deserves, I would give it up to someone who would love and care for it.After all, children are God's blessings.

i agree with you if you old enough to lay down and play then you old enough to pay the consiquences and if you dont want to baby then you should try to see if there is an adoption agencey around or if you could do a private adoption or whatever there are a lot of women out there that can not have children that would proudly take on the responcibitly of a baby that they could call their own.....i think you right in what you saying good luck with this

Unless the mother will die by carrying a child to term, I think she should have the baby. In the case of rape, I think the morning after pill could be given if the victim wants it even before she knows that she's pregnant.

The attacker should have his unit removed so he can't make any more victims or babies.

A agree with you 100%
Abortion = Murder, no exceptions

Just a reminder to all the idiots who think a fetus is just a few cells, i have 3 words for you LOOK IT UP.
A baby has a heart at 3 weeks, 3 WEEKS, you usally don't know you're pregant then, a brain and most of the organs at 6-8 weeks.
Get your facts streight people!!!!

For me personally, I would have to be in the situation to make an honest decision. If I was raped, I would take the morning after pill right away. If that didn't work, I think I would consider abortion. I think abortion is sometimes medically necessary but I'm not in support of girls who use it like a form of birth control because they keep making mistakes.

Murder would be the killing of a person. A clump of cells does not equal a person. Often women have a very good reason for having an abortion and it is none of your business. If you felt you had a good enough reason, chances are you would do it too.

My opinions excluded, I don;t believe its my right to tell anyone what to do with their bodies, and their lives. People will do what they want, and no matter how much a group interjects their opinion, you are not going to change the world. Pro-Life/Pro-Choice is the same way. It is sad enough there is a need for this practice, don't make it so women who choose this will end up dying as well, through back alley abortions and such.
