Ionization. It is a part of the Global-Atmospheric Electrical Circuit here on earth, and most likely another reason in the universe that we have not come to fully understand as yet.

From your answers it sounds like you are Atheist but you always question why God does this, Why God does that.
Athiests believe in science and you know severe wheathers are being caused in every country on this planet because of global warming, then why are you accusing God specially when you don't even believe on God? This is the impressing I have from your answers.
God admits in Quran that whatever good as well bad happens to us is from Him. He takes the responsibility of bad events simply because He has power to stop if He wants to. But God chooses not to keep extinguishing fires every where.
It is reported every year that some fires are started by greedy firefighters to get lots of overtime. I do not mean to say that all Firefighters are bad. It takes only one man to start a fire in windy whether. It doesn't get controlled untill millions of acres of mountaineous trees, bushes and animals are burned.
Same way all scientists are saying that global warming is caused by polluting industrialists and USA is on top of the violators list. US elections are fought by the huge contributions of industrialists. So Law Makers scratch backs of industrialists also by not making laws that can burden them with huge expenses of making industries pollution free. In world market American products do not sell being too expensive. Increasing costs of manufacturing will raise cost further making it even more difficult to sell Ameican products in world market. You know Money always talks and gets listened. Therefore America will remain one of the world's top polluters like china, Russia and India.

The storms are just the absence of peace. Just like darkness is the absence of light and cold is the absence of heat. God doesn't make storms, they are just the absence of His peace.

Organic reboot.
Every once in a while things need to be wiped out and started over, I guess.
Like the trees whose seeds are only viable after a forest fire. Gets rid of dead and sick trees, and makes way for new and healthy growth.
