I have something similar except on the left side. The problem I have in this area is called costochondritis. This is an inflammation of the cartillage around the ribcage.

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be causing this.

It feels like Tietze's syndrome--a benign infection of the costal cartilage. Press down at the discipline wherein the ribs meet the breast plate/sternum. If you think affliction, it is so much more often than not Tietze's. P.S. Any chest affliction must be checked out by way of a document to rule out critical issues.
