Hi Sydney...all mammals have a belly buttons.
All placental mammals develop inside their mother. Nutrients, oxygen, and wastes are exchanged between the developing embryo and the mother through a placenta. An umbilical cord connects the embryo to the placenta. The navel or belly button is where the umbilical cord was attatched to the young placental mammal. So even though you may not notice it unless you look very carefully cats do, indeed, have belly buttons.

Yes, all mammals do, but it's not quite like ours.
Belly buttons are where the umbilical cord attaches the baby to the mother's womb. Ours stays open, but cat's and dog's close up, and all you can see is a very slight scar - but this is covered by the animal's fur of course. You would only be able to see them on a hairless cat, or when a cat's belly has been shaved.

Hi! Yep, all mammals have a belly button. Humans are rare in that our belly button is pronounced and of course we do not have hair covering it so it is easily seen.
Fun question....it made me smile.

Yes they do but they are basically flat and unless you shave them and know where to look, you will never see them.

No they don't. Just like dogs or, better yet, FERRETS. I think humans are the only animals with belly buttons, aside from monkeys.
