I tried that once, and it backfired. He said thanks and accepted the present, but he didn't buy me anything in return. All I did was try to let him know I liked him, and that increased his already overly inflated ego. I felt foolish and totally humiliated. I swore I would never buy a guy a present again, unless he was my steady boyfriend or more. Does that answer your question? Keep your money for yourself...let guys buy YOU presents first. Good luck and happy holidays.

Only if it's an inspirational present IE the reason you bought it is that you saw it and it made you think of that person. Why else would you randomly buy someone a present. You can't buy someone's genuine affection but if you connect with them on an emotional level by buying them a present that really touches them then you have a chance of taking things to another level!

Depends on if you guys are friends or not. If you are, then it won't be awkward, and doing so may drop a hint that you're interested. If you aren't close, getting him a gift might be a great way to break the ice and hopefully start a friendship that possibly leads to a relationship. I say, go for it!

"Make this Christmas present a Santa Clause hat."
"Hand him a song book, and see if he has Christmas spirit."
"No lady wants to have a crush on a 'Christmas Grouch'."
"No lady should buy a gift for a 'Christmas Grinch' either."

90% of the time if you are a girl and you tell a guy you like him, you will get him.. especially if you think he flirts at all. He will feel dumb if he got you nothing though. Just say you like him and get your hopes over with... lifes too short not to act on things

Heck yeah, drop a hint maybe he feels the same way about you, unless he got a woman! (lol) But otherwise go for it! or get it delivered with no names attached and when you see him alone tell him it was from you.

no you would be making a fool of yourself and giving away a lot of personal power. resist the temptation and simply wish him a merry xmas and a safe new year. No card either -

depends on how much you like him and what kind of relationship you already have. if you're already good or close friends go for it....so it won't be THAT obvious that you like him more.
if you're not so close. just give him a card. a nice card.
good luck.
