handle it? I try to keep my voice down, but whenever she doesn't have an answer she just starts threatening me.

Slaveof12Gods: why? She doesn't seem to have trouble breathing, her snout is longer than it appears.

Here's what you took down, the answer you decided you didn't like.
"You need help. Poor baby. Can't you play nice? Do you need a nap maybe? Or a bottle? Perhaps a diaper change?
I have my doubts that you are mature enough to have a "deep" discussion about anything...the only "deep" thing i smell coming from you is a load of crap."

Michael:
It's a silly question, don't take it too seriously. Though I wouldn't lie to you and say that it had no underlying meaning.
I've talked to many Christians and some react before they think and some of those react angrily. As you stated the same goes for nonbelievers, of course I don't have quantifiable evidence, but I would bet that this sort of behavior is more prevalent in believers.

Michael:
I missed your point, sorry. I would agree that many Christians aren't "really" Christians, but I don't know where you draw the line. I wonder if it's just not varying degrees of self discipline.

What a great dog! Maybe if you give her a treat or a rawhide when the conversation gets too deep, she'll get distracted and forget what made her get all riled up in the first place. Cheers!

Maybe you should stop trying to pull the bone out of her mouth while you "debate". I'm sure the snarling will end as soon as you back off the rawhide.
As for this snide question about Christians, it seem that you have had a human-to-human problem and have incorrectly assumed it was because of someone's beliefs and not their humanity. Haven't you been insulted/harmed/disappointed by non-believers as well? Nobody is perfect. As for my experience, I'd say that there are plenty of non-believers who act more like believers than those who claim to be a believer. That should tell you something -- kinda' like this: standing in a garage makes you a car as much as going to church makes you a Christian.
You make it seem as though Christians are all a certain way. That's about as narrow-minded as concluding that all dogs are mean and bloodthirsty because you got bit by one.

...People become Christians, not dogs. You must have missed that in your Bible reading.
...You and your dog talk often, I guess. Well, you know what they say - - "Great minds think alike."
...Do you both look alike? If so, you may want others to know they can tell who the dog is by the bark.

Your dog is an animal in a religion that has no respect for animals. Get your dog to convert to one of the animal religions.
