and why do I get the distinct impression there is a bias against following the law and lowering the boom on these criminals and the ones who hire them?

Why does someone who oppose giving financial aid to children of illegal aliens portrayed as some sort of extremist? After all, its just plain logican that if you dont want illegal aliens you must remove all incentives that make them think we are softies that they can take advantage of.

The media and counterculturalists are just trying to change the meaning of the language again..."immigrants" is more sterile than the accurate "illegal immigrants."

As far as the portrayal of extremist for not wanting to fund other people's children, they do what no matter whether it's the children of illegal aliens or the children of parents who refuse to live responsibly.

I'd really like my work and income to be spent on the child I chose to procreate...that is a radical idea now.

Like the MSNBC headline that said "Arizona makes illegal immigrants against the law". That "illegal" part doesn't fit their world view. Same way that most of the US says "protect the borders" and liberals hear "immigration reform" which is code for "amnesty". All they can think about is another big block of Democrat voters and dues paying union members. And they managed to get the Health Care bill in place just in time to give a couple million formerly illegal immigrants free medical care. Well, not exactly free. Somebody will be paying for it.

Most is propaganda from the pro-illegal groups .
As far as Media being biases for illegals , what would you expect , if all the Media is owned by Corporations and Corporations want illegal labor in this country .
CNN has the only straight talking show on illegal immigration that I've seen and that's Lou Dobbs .

The MSM often call these illegal aliens, "undocumented workers," which really steams me. They have documents, but they are fake or stolen. I wrote and AP writer about using this politically correct term, and he said that it was AP policy. Many of the news organization are liberal and favor amnesty for the illegal aliens, and even Fox NEws is sympathetic towards the illegals in our country. They love all of that cheap labor!

I agree about stopping all benefits for illegal aliens, except for emergency care. No more citizenship for the children of illegal aliens: http://capwiz.com/caps/issues/alert/?alertid=10247066&type=CO

Because the media is liberally biased and it's the liberals who are strong proponents of political correctness. This has been and continues to be a big obstacle in getting anything meaningful done. We cannot continue to disregard our own interests in favor of those who want to hurt us. This goes for internal as well as external threats by those so called friends and foes alike. There are those, even Americans, who want us to lose it all. We have to be watchful of the media and hold them accountable.

The pro-illegal alien crowd has already begun to move away from the term 'immigration' by calling it 'migration,' or 'migrant' instead of 'immigrant' in order to imply that there is some irresistible force of nature that impels them to illegally invade America. This is said in contravention of 'fact and truth,' because we all know that the 'migration' exists because of America's disgraceful governmental policy of 'open borders' and non-enforcement of immigration law. All of which are done in order to appease the desires of avaricious and dishonest employers and to pander to the Hispanic voter. The pro-illegal alien crowd hopes that we will make another leap of faith by concluding and accepting the new propaganda of 'migrant' and 'migration,' rendering "We the People" impotent once again!

The pro-illegal alien lobby believes we will continue to 'roll over' and accept any new terminology they stridently provide because we have never challenged their 'nation of immigrants' mantra! The pro-illegal alien crowd believes it has found us willing dupes in believing that our nation of native Americans descended of LEGAL immigrants is somehow equivalent to the ILLEGAL immigrants they support! They believe us dupes because we permit thousands of illegal aliens to clog our streets in protest DEMANDING their 'RIGHTS' when they are here in violation of our laws and should have no 'rights!' They should be in jail or deported, not 'aided and abetted' by police permits that allows them to flaunt their illegal presence in our streets which only serves to embolden them further. If we continue to be politely pc (i.e., politically castrated) and overly timid in challenging such propaganda and outrageous 'in your face' flaunting of our laws . . . we allow THEM to control the language AND the debate!

The media is trying to be PC,they have seen the pro illegal rallies and protests, very violent. The media and reporters are probably scared of being attacked by racist La Raza/metcha members for calling them what they really are.

Political Correctness. For those who say Europeans were "illegal" remember there weren't any laws back then prohibiting it.

It sounds better to them. It allows them to pretend to be regular immigrants, but we know what they really are.
