Ask some one who works for a super market but logically i would say its a shopping divider because its letting the check out person know when the other persons shopping is finished and the next persons shopping has begun, otherwise who every started the first lot of shopping off would have a very big bill because they wouldnt know when their shopping ends so i can put my shopping on and they pay for it. woo hoo free food
