are you specific that isn't in basic terms a trapping season? and besides, the beaver are going to be there, yet probable not as many or each and every of those you considered because you considered a family members group, meaning the greater youthful ones might depart after a pair years and discover their own ponds. and the .22 it stable for close variety, not greater then 40 ft and the 30-30 at not greater then a hundred and fifty yards. do not use the shotguns, they are going to wreck the fur. in the adventure that your capturing for excitement, please do not, through fact their an significant piece of the ponds environment and should not be messed with except needed.

hi there
if your after the pelt to sell the now is best, if your after meat , soon as the cold weather sets in, till it starts warming up, beaver meat is an aquired taste , to much like eating a poplar tree for me , but some folks like it, good hunting.

All jokes aside. It may be illegal to hunt beaver, only trapping allowed in Wisconsin.

Anytime before it freezes, b/c they hibernate in the winter. Trapping is probably a better bet, but a canoe and a rifle would work... don't ruin the hide. The meat is really not that tasty (smells like fish, tastes like chicken, plug yer nose and keep on lickin'!).
