I know someone that used acutane .. it does make your lips very dry .. but it was the only thing that worked. The only thing that was effective. If nothing else has helped, I would go with accutane. (Unless you are pregnant, or plan on becoming pregnant while using this medication). Good Luck ! :)

I personally use Tea Tree Oil because it is well-known for its drawing properties, meaning it draws the infection (the pimple) out. I also use it on my acne regularly because it reduces the redness within hours of putting it on, and it works amazingly on my pimples to keep them away. It's very safe and doesn't hurt at all.. It is 100% natural with no "fake" additives in it or anything like that... Best of all it is cheap and easy to find, such as at Walgreens (if you have one around), or at stores that sell health-foods and natural medicines. It is a very common home remedy and is very handy in medicine cabinets or First Aid Kits because it is a "cure-all" meaning it is not just for one thing in particular, it can help with many things.
I use it, and I love it. ProActiv didn't work for me, and nothing else really has either.. but this stuff has pretty much done the trick.
Goodluck :)

You ever tried to a Dermatology and tell them what's the problem with your face. When you wash your face at night or in the morning try and use luke warm water, if you use real hot water that can damage your face. What kind of soap do you use? Another thing I want to ask : Do put lotion on your face?
What I want for you to do is contact me on my im message yahoo or you can email me at beaufordrenee@yahoo.com and I can tell you what I do when I have acne problems.

Not every product will work for everyone, but I'll tell you what finally worked for me: the regimen invented by Dan on acne.org. His products are affordable, and the first thing that really worked for me in the long run (I've been using them for about two years).
If the products aren't for you the website still provides excellent resources for acne sufferers, including reviews of all the major products. Good luck:)

Try this soap: Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar, Antibacterial . It really works well. Can be a bit drying but use an oil free facial lotion afterward. And it's affordable like $3/bar!

Well... I dunno about completely getting rid of it, but used scented soaps. It sounds crazy, but your skin seriously feels AMAZING. I have been doing it for awhile now and my skin has cleared up quite a bit and the oil is totally gone for at least 24 hours. It is amazing. And don't worry, a dermatologists recommended it!
Plus, if ou get peppermint scented soap, that actually "feeds" your skin because it is a stimulant, which gets your blood circulating through your skin. Also helping with healthy, clear skin.
Hope this helps!!

Go to a doctor....ask him to prescribe 50,000units of Vitamin A....ask him to prescribe Regroton...big name for Tetracycline....
Then wash your face with a SCRUB cleanser...followed by Neutrogena 'regular' soap.....
That's what gave me a 'peaches and cream' complexion at 15....

I've used tetracycline and that worked wonders.
I spent a long time just figuring out what face wash and lotion works well for my skin. It may just take time for you.
