my birthday is christmas and i need a drink i can drink all day, so it cant be heavy like egg nog because then i'll only be able to have a couple. i dont like things to have a strong alcoholic flavor but i would still like the effects of the alcohol. some drinks i like are: pineapple and malibu, kool aid and vodka, baileys, sex on the beach, midori sour/amaretto sour. i would like it to be a christmas-y drink if possible but i know alot of holiday themed drinks arent very strong or have things like milk and egg nog in them. NO BEER PLEASE! any ideas?? thanks so much!

ok again i say...NO EGG NOG type drinks, and i would prefer to stay away from things such as everclear because of how strong it is. also, i'm not a big fan of rum unless it is flavored. things like martinis wont work because i dont really want to taste the alcohol. i am in college and i know how to drink/how not to get out of control and sick, but i'm not a big fan of drinks that taste like alcohol. and i want to drink on my 21st birthday at my family celebration, so please no suggestions to just not drink. thanks!

Amaretto sours are my signature drink - or really anything with Amaretto in it. It's a sweet liquor and is a good dessert drink. I sometimes get a NY Snowball (a scoop of vanilla ice cream with Amaretto poured on top) for dessert. If you are just starting out though and not much of a drinker, start out slow and try a simple strawberry daiquiri or a sex on the beach. Don't try and go for the gusto and get a Long Island Iced Tea or a Hurricane. Maybe even something as mellow as a nice Mojito would do the trick.

If you're going to be drinking all day, stay away from sugary mixed drinks, or you're going to suffer a huge hangover.

Vodka and orange juice might be a good choice.

Drink lots of water during the day along with your alcohol.

Why not have a beach theme party or go to beach and hold it there, take with you disposal BBQ's, sausages, beefburgers or anything that you like for the bbq and plenty of cool drinks. There are plenty of beach games that you can play, like volleyball, beach football or rounders, music so you can have a dance & really get the party mood going. Happy Birthday & have fun !

if you don't wanna have a non alcoholic party, you could mix cranberry juice and add 2 table spoons of sugar and slice bite sized pineapples( it's called sunset beach) .
or make smoothies! grab a blender, add some of your friends favorite food, add some milk and some cream! it makes a Delicious drink and here is another recipe.Cream, Chocolate Syrup, milk and some Chocolate! like caramel. blend them all together and you have a fiesta of drinks!

If you have some friend (21 or older!), try this drinking games with vodka, I think this is what you need, its more enjoyable to drink with friends and its a lot of fun:

Early try these games in this page:

And if you are up to, try this:
Cultura chupistica (roughly translated to alcohol culture):
Name a subject (eg. movies that Scarlett Johannson has appear). The first one that can't or repeats one, takes a shot.
