What is the cut off day for being able to claim your child? I am expecting and I think I heard somewhere that in order to claim your child, they would have to be born before dec.27th. Is this true? Or would the cut off day be dec.31st?

As long as the date of birth on the birth certificate is 2007, you may claim your child. If the child is born after the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve, that would make it 2008 and you'd have to wait a year.
