ark is the correct spelling, and you make a good point, however you have distorted it a bit. the ark was not a tiny boat an ark is a huge boat.
anyway the real problem with the whole noah's ark thing, is the fact that there was noah his wife and his three sons, they had to repopulate the earth, how do we get so many different races tongues and religions if everyone was from noah and his wife, and probably his sons and his wife, (as incest is a big thing in the bible)
