me and my girlfriend have owned our puggle for about 10 months and no major problems yet but latey the dog love going pee on our bed, at first we thought it was because she "marked" here territory but last night she just peed on the bed but not in her usual spot, any ideas? she is 100% crate trained so she knows better to go on the bed, and she doesnt go to the bathroom anywere but on our bed

My female pug did that too...only 2-3 times..I think it was because the bed was to high for her to jump off of and get back on. She is smaller and shorter to the ground than regular pugs. Her legs are only about 4" long...After a couple times she didnt do it anymore.

The easiest solution is not to let her on the bed anymore. My dog was trained and out of the blue, she peed on the bed two nights in a row. She did not get back on the bed for two months after that. That is the only answer I have. It is probably a territorial thing, ???

are you ignoring it? Sometimes animals act out their frustrations by doing naughty things. Females usually don't "mark" territories so you may want to, and ONLY when you see her doing it, say "go outside"...bring the dog outside. RUbbing it's nose is such an old method, NEVER corrects the problem because if it happens hours beforehand they are not going to know why you are doing that. Maybe walk her at night before bedtime, give her a rawhide to chew on on the floor which will keep her mind busy.....

Sorry man, but a dog would only get two chances to pee in my bed.

The first one I would accept as an accident, and would deal out swift punishment as a good teaching tool.

The second time, could be doggie for dinner!!

But hey, I'm sure you love the dog, so if you don't mind sleeping in a bed of dog piss, more power to ya!!

Dude, just keep her out of the bedroom!

Of course, I'm referring to the dog, not your girlfriend! ;)
